Mag. Ursula Zechner

Ursula Zechner studied law at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz from 1986 to 1991. After a year in court and a period of study in Italy, she started her professional career in 1994 at the Austrian Federal Railways (Österreichische Bundesbahnen, ÖBB), where she worked for more than ten years in the central HR department, before moving to ÖBB-Traktion GmbH where she spent five years managing the legal and corporate development department. After 18 months on the management board of Schienen-Control GmbH, she was appointed section head for the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Innovation und Technologie) in September 2011, where she was responsible for all legislative and regulatory agenda of all modes of transport (road, rail, air and sea).
On 1 March 2018 Ursula Zechner was appointed Managing Director of ASFINAG Maut Service Gesellschaft where she is responsible for commercial matters
